We process personal data only as far as needed to handle your enquiry and stay. Below you can see exactly what we know about you, why, and for how long.
Who is responsible

What data and why
Enquiry form: name, e-mail, optionally phone, dates of stay, number of guests and your note. We need them to check the dates, send you a confirmation and payment details and arrange your arrival. Legal basis: steps prior to and performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
If the stay takes place, we keep the data needed for invoicing and the guest register as required by tax and other laws (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Protecting the site: we record when an enquiry was sent so that the form cannot be abused to send unsolicited messages (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
How long
Enquiries that did not lead to a stay are kept for at most 3 years. Data on completed stays are kept for the period required by accounting and tax law (usually 10 years for invoices).
Who has access
We never sell your data or pass it on for marketing. It is processed on our behalf by these service providers: Convex (database, servers in Ireland, EU), Macaly and Vercel (website hosting and sending e-mails) and Google (Gmail mailbox).
The map on the Things to do page loads tiles from OpenStreetMap, which therefore sees your IP address. Fonts are served from our own server, with no third-party services.
Cookies and analytics
The site does not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies. The hosting provider may keep anonymous visitor statistics and technical logs (e.g. for security).
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify or erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object. Just e-mail us at the address above; we reply within 30 days.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Czech data protection authority (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, www.uoou.cz) or the authority in your country.
