How do I book the apartment?

Accepted Answer

Use the enquiry form on the booking page. We usually reply within a few hours. Once we confirm availability, we send you payment details and hold the dates for you for 3 days. After the payment goes through, we send you an invoice, which we can also print for you on the day of arrival.

Question 2

What is the minimum stay?

We rent the apartment for at least 2 nights. The calendar on the booking page will not let you pick a shorter stay.

Question 3

How do I pay, and what if I cancel?

Once we confirm your dates, you pay a 50% deposit within 3 days and the balance no later than 30 days before arrival. If you book less than 30 days ahead, the full amount is paid at once. The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel.

Arrival

The apartment is part of the family house we live in, so we are happy to welcome you in person and show you everything. If we are not home, the keys will be in the letterbox and we will e-mail you the code at the latest the day before arrival. It is easy to get lost in Peklo, so we will send you a description of the route with photos of the turns in advance. There is one parking space for guests; if you need a second one, just mention it in the note of the form.

Departure and cleaning

Cleaning of the apartment is included in the price of your stay, but we greatly appreciate the apartment being left in the best possible state. On departure you only need to lock the guests’ entrance and drop the keys in the letterbox, or hand them to us in person if we happen to meet.

Question 6

Where can I move around?

We live in the family house and appreciate it when you respect our privacy and do not walk around the garden. Please keep to the guests’ parking space. The apartment and bathroom are for our guests only; and we equally respect your privacy.

Can I have a party in the apartment?

Accepted Answer

For parties we recommend the town or the famous Špindlerův Mlýn. We do not tolerate parties in the apartment. Since we commute to Špindlerův Mlýn for work, we are happy to arrange something and maybe even drive you there.

When can I arrive and leave?

Check-in is from 15:00 to 22:00, check-out from 8:00 to 11:00. Please let us know roughly when you will arrive – if we are not at home, the key is in the letterbox with a code.

Is there Wi-Fi?

Yes, free Wi-Fi throughout the apartment – also good for remote work at the desk in the bedroom.

Question 10

How big is the apartment?

Accepted Answer

About 60 m²: a bedroom with a double bed, a living room with kitchenette and sofa bed, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. It has its own entrance.

Question 11

Can I bring a dog? Is smoking allowed?

Unfortunately we cannot accept pets, and the whole apartment is non-smoking. Thank you for understanding.
